VMI Club of Richmond Rat Send-Off

Rats/Parents,

Let me to be the first to congratulate you on your decision to attend the Virginia Military Institute! You should be proud that you have chosen to take the road less traveled as it will set you up for success for the rest of your life.  Whether it be professionally or personally, there isn’t a day that has gone by where I haven’t benefitted from attending and graduating from VMI.

We would cordially like to invite you and two guests (free of charge) to a sendoff in your honor as you embark on this exciting next chapter of your lives.  It will be held at the Dominion Energy Center on August 2nd from 6PM-9PM.  The address for the Dominion Energy Center is 600 E Grace St Suite 400, Richmond, VA 23219. The attire is business casual.  We will have a plated dinner for you and your guests as well as two speakers who will be able to impart wisdom and guidance prior to matriculation in late August. I highly recommend each and every one of you to take advantage of this opportunity as it will not only give you a chance to learn more about the journey you are about to start but will be an excellent opportunity to start networking with your fellow “brother rats”.  The camaraderie of VMI is one of it’s defining attributes and you will be surprised at the end of your cadetship how much your brother rats will continue to add value to your life in both your military and civilian endeavors.

The VMI Club of Richmond Board of Directors and I will be reaching out to each of you over the coming weeks to help assist with the signup process for the event as well as answering any questions you may have.  I ask that you please sign up prior to July 31st in order for us to have the most accurate head count possible.
